Maureen is a third year doctoral student at Queen’s University. She received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in marketing and human resources management. She completed her Master of Science (Management), with a specialization in marketing, at Queen’s University. Maureen’s primary research interests include ‘respect’ in business-to-business relationships, corporate social responsibility, cause-related marketing, and non-profit/arts marketing. In between her academic training, Maureen has worked for a management consulting firm, for the Austrian Youth Red Cross in Vienna, and for the University of Saskatchewan. In her free time, she enjoys running, mountain biking, golfing, white water canoeing, and all forms of skiing (water and snow).

Hulda Black, University of Kentucky

Hulda is a third year doctoral student at the University of Kentucky.  She received her undergraduate degree in marketing at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI.  Her M.B.A. is from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI.  Hulda’s primary research interests include services marketing with an emphasis in healthcare and health/wellness.  Prior to attending UK, Hulda was the Director of Operations for Champion Health & Fitness; Champion is a full-service health and fitness facility located in Rockford, MI.  Outside of work and school, Hulda and her husband, Kyle, enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and cycling.

Rishtee Kumar Batra, Boston University

Before joining the Marketing doctoral program at Boston University, Rishtee completed her BA in psychology from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor and MBA in Marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit.  Over the past two years, Rishtee has developed a strong interest in two separate areas of consumer behavior- product design research as well as research focusing on self-conscious emotions in marketing.  Rishtee looks forward to carrying on her family's tradition, by becoming a third-generation business professor. In her free time, she likes explore Boston with her husband, Dheeraj.
 
Ben Lawrence, Boston University

Ben is a doctoral student at Boston University's School of Management and has worked in both the international and domestic hospitality and energy businesses.  He has a BS from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and an MBA from the Mays College of Business at
Texas A&M University.  His current research interests involve ritual consumption including ritualized service experiences, gift giving, and the effect of ritual on community vitality.  In their free time his wife, Tania, and kids, John and Rowan, enjoy spending time at the beach near their home in Ipswich MA.

Annie is a third year doctoral student at Kent State University. She received her Master of Art from KSU, majoring in mass communication with a specialization in media management. Annie’s primary research interests include managing human capital in marketing and international consumer studies such as consumer ethnocentrism and consumer animosity. Annie has work experiences with UNESCO and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. She and her husband, Yisong, enjoy hiking and traveling.

Jodie is a third year doctoral student at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. Prior to entering the doctoral program, she completed a B.S. in Marketing at the Ohio State University.  Jodie's research interests involve consumer behavior, including behavioral pricing and dissatisfaction.  She has a wonderful, supportive husband named Andrew, a senior production manager for a local Atlanta marketing firm.  The couple have a little boy named George. In her free time, Jodie watches sports and takes Max the dog for walks.

Dan is an Assistant Professor of Marketing, Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Dan served as the President of DocSIG from 2000 - 2002 while he was a doctoral student at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Prior to his studies at USF, Dan earned a bachelors, M.S., and MBA degrees from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. His primary research interests include services marketing, sales management and consumer behavior. Dan is married to his special "chica" Maggie, and his hobbies include running, following baseball, and playing guitar.
